ISOMAT ISOLAC BLOCK GLOSS ENAMEL PAINT FOR DIRECT APPLICATION ON RUST

ISOLAC BLOCK GLOSS is used for indoor or outdoor applications, on new or old metal
surfaces, such as doors, railings, machinery and tools.

Directions for use

1. Substrate preparation
The substrate should be dry and free of loose
rust, grease, loose particles, dust etc., while any imperfections should be rubbed down
with sandpaper.
For application on galvanized metal or aluminum surfaces, in order to achieve
maximum adhesion, priming with EPOXYCOAT AC or ISOLAC AQUA PRIMER
is necessary.
After 24 hours, provided the primer has completely dried, we can proceed with first
hand of ISOLAC BLOCK GLOSS.

2. Application
Before using ISOLAC BLOCK GLOSS, slightly stir its content. Apply thinned up to 3%
with SM-18 for application by brush or roller, and thinned up to 10-15% with SM-16 for
airless spray application.
In case of brush application, apply in two layers. The second layer is applied after the
first has completely dried, approximately after 4 hours.
In case of application with airless spray, apply in four layers.
Every next layer is applied after the previous has completely dried,
approximately after 1 hour for thin layers. (Depending on temperature and humidity
conditions.)
Temperature during application and drying of the paint should be between +10°C and +35°C.

Coverage

ISOLAC BLOCK GLOSS covers up to 8-12 m2/l per coat, on previously prepared surfaces.
