OBDII CODE READER SWOBD4

Industry-recognized diagnostic code reader that is suitable for all types of users, including road engineers, garage engineers and home engineers.

The reader provides both general and manufacturer specific diagnostic fault codes (DTCs) along with a brief explanation of the general codes via the large backlit LCD screen.

No batteries are required to operate the diagnostic tool. Just connect it to the OBD II connection point to turn it on. The tool is compatible with petrol vehicles from 1996 onwards and with diesel vehicles from 2004 onwards. Make sure the vehicle is OBD II compliant.

The product comes with an in-depth user manual that explains all diagnostic codes and operating instructions.

Not compatible with motorcycles and hybrid & electric vehicles.

Note that in order for your vehicle to comply with OBD II, it must have a 16-pin DLC (Data Link Connector) and the vehicle emission control information label must indicate that the vehicle is OBD II compliant.

Note: The reader will not be able to read codes for airbags and braking systems. OBD II readers read only emission codes and engine management systems in 99.9% of OBD II compliant vehicles.
