VECHRO CORROLUX METAL EFFECT ANTICORROSIVE ENAMEL PAINT WITH SPEC. METALIZED-PEARL EFFECT

Special metalized – pearl effect protective anddecorative enamel with very good anticorrosive properties, suitable for indoor and outdoor metallic substrates.
Ideal for protection and decoration of metallic substrates without use of anticorrosive primer.
Excellent adhesion, leveling and very good drying.

Texture:Flat embossed.

Specific weight: 1,38-1,42 kg/lt (Metalized base).

Covering power:8-10m²/lt per layer depending on the surface.

Dilution:Up to 5% on volume with thinner SMALTOLUX WHITE SPIRIT for application by brush or
roller and 8% with Thinner No 1 of VECHRO for application with spray.

Drying:2-3 hours touch free depending on the weather conditions.

Recoatability: Recoatable16-18 hours after application or after first layer’ s hardening. These times
prolong under cold and wet weather conditions.

VOC class:“One-pack performance coatings. Anticorrosion finishes”
Type SB. VOC limit =500 gr/lt. Max VOC of product ready for use = 430 gr/lt. It fulfills
the requirements of E.C. legislation after 2011. VOC: organic volatile compounds with
boiling point < 250ºC

SURFACE PREPARATION
Clean the surface of dust, oil, cropped paints, rust. Sandpaper and clean
well the surface.

APPLICATION EQUIPMENT
Brush, Roller, Spraygun.

APPLICATION
Stir well. Apply two coats CORROLUX metal effect. For better anticorrosive protection, be sure that the whole of surface has been well coated.
To achieve the best anticorrosive performance, apply at least 100μm dry
film, or apply firstly OXIDOL primer.

CLEANING EQUIPMENT
While working keep your equipment wet, either in the pot, or in the paint
lauder. Strain well your tools from paint back to the pot and clean immediately with thinner, water and soap.

APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Temperature 8-30 ºC and relative humidity lower than 80%. Contrary
weather conditions may degrade paint’s quality.

STORAGE
Store in a cool place, protect from freezing and sun exposure. Close the
can well after application to keep in good condition. Recover unused paint
for re-use. Reuse of paint can effectively minimize the product’s life cycle
environmental impact.
