RUSTOLEUM MULTI-SURFACE COMBICOLOR SOLUBLE PAINT
Revolutionary soluble paint suitable for wood, metal, tiles, glass, concrete, wall, PVC etc, without a primer, for exterior or interior use.Excellent adhesionExcellent coveragePerfect finish Non-yellowing over timeEconomical solution for multiple applicationsCoverage:10m²/LDrying Time:2 hoursTime Between Coats:8 hoursUse:INTERIOR & EXTERIORApplication Method:ROLLER, BRUSHTool Cleaner:WHITE SPIRITRust-Oleum® CombiColor® Multi-Surface 7300 coating is a solvent based primer and topcoatin one, based on a modified Alkyd binder, providing good adhesion to many types of substrates. The product is lead- and chromate free.RECOMMENDED USESRust-Oleum CombiColor Multi-Surface 7300 can be applied on many different substrates likewood, metal, mdf, masonry, tiles, most rigid plastics, old concrete and more. We advise to doa small adhesion test prior to the application of the full surface. CombiColor Multi-Surface isintended for brush and roller application. For metal structures in a more aggressive industrial environment we advise CombiColor Original in combination with Rust-Oleum CombiPrimer Anti-Corrosion 3369/3380.TECHNICAL DATAAppearance: High gloss, Satin, Matt.Density: 1.00-1.60 depending on colour / gloss levelSolids Content: 55% by volume ± 2.0 depending on colourViscosity: 85-90 Krebs Units at 20°CRecommended film thickness: 45 µm dry, equals 82 µm wet per coatVOC-content: 420 g/l max.Ready-to-use mixture: 420 g/l max.Category: A/iEU Limit values: 500 g/l (2010)CoverageTheoretical: 9 - 10 m²/l at 45 µm dry per coat, depending on colour.Practical: Practical coverage depends on many factors such as porosity and roughness of the substrate and material losses during application.SURFACE PREPARATIONRemove oil, grease and all other surface contaminations by alkaline cleaning in combinationwith appropriate detergents. Remove rust scale, loose mill scale, loose rust and loose coatings by scraping, wire brushing or sanding.Sand intact coatings to roughen the surface slightly. Test before application the compatibilitywith the old coating. The surface must be clean and dry during application.New galvanised (bright aluminium-like finish), Zinc and Aluminium (new and old) surfaceshave to be primed first with CombiPrimer 3302.Aged galvanized (matt grey appearance, showing white rust) should first be cleaned with anacid cleaner (e.g. Rust-Oleum® SE108) or by mechanical abrasion with for example ScotchBrite.Very porous surfaces should be sealed prior to application of CombiColor® Multi-Surface. DIRECTION FOR USETo ensure homogeneity, coating materials should be thoroughly stirred prior to use.APPLICATION & THINNINGBrush: Use natural bristles, long hair brushes.Thinning generally not requiredRoller: Use short nap, poly-amid (Perlon) 6-12 mm rollers.Roller application may require 2 coats to achieve recommended dry filmthickness Thinning generally not required.Air-atomised spray: Not recommended.Cleanup: Use Rust-Oleum Thinner 160.APPLICATION CONDITIONSTemperature of air, substrate and coating material between 5° and 35°C and relative humiditybelow 85%. The substrate temperature must be at least 3°C above dew point.SAFETYConsult Safety Data Sheet and Safety Information printed on the can.SHELLIFE / STORAGE CONDITIONS2 years from date of production in unopened cans, if stored in dry, well ventilated areas, not indirect sunlight at temperatures between 5° and 35°C.
